Chapter 3

In Chapter 3 they were ready to find their owner at ALL costs. Also their is a bit of action in this chapter. The old terrier gets injured, and a cub starts to play with him. That is when Tao, pounces on the cub and starts to sratchs is eyes violently. So that the cub will leave his friend alone. The mama bear notices when she hears her cubs cry. She try to push to cat away violently, but the cat was too quick for her and she endded up hitting her cub who flew into the bushes.
It has a sense of drama and tradjaty.
It was starting to get a bit colder. Also the Labradore and the Terrier are getting hungry. So the Labradore feeds of of domestic berries. It still dosen't help his appetite. Tao is still feeding of of birds.

I really like this chapter. Because it showes how they care for each other. I feel sad for the cub too. Only because he was unly playing with his corps, out of cuirousness. The cub did not mean to hurt the Terrier. He got he's eyes scratched, and he was bleeding too, and then out of no were his mom come and hits him into a bush(POOR little baby cub :(...). Also the cat fells sorry for the Terrier and catches it some food(Hurray!!).

Chapter 2

In this chapter, John, anounces that he will go on a hunting trip and that he won't bring, the animals with. Because there isn't enought space for 4 in the caonoe. So he writes a letter to Mrs, Oaks telling her that he will leave the animals with her, so she will take care of them. He writes the lettre on 2 pieces of papers. And leaves it on he's desk for Mrs.Oaks to see. But he looses the second piece of paper. And when Mrs, Oaks comes to his house. She only finds the 1 piece of paper, wich sais:
'' I will be tacking the dogs (and Tao too of course!).....''

So she suspects that John is talking the animals with him. But she does think its odd that someone would bring a cat hunting. She did think there was an other paper, and that the cat must of knocked it off the table. But she looked every where and she did not find them...
So when John leaves, the animals feel lonely, and leave the house trying to return to their owner.

After a while the old Terrier gets week. And the Labradore gets hungry. But on the other end the cat is a natural hunter and catches food, like birds, and chipmucks. That is one of the reasons why Tao is my favorite Charactor!

Chapter 1: Introduction review

Chapter 1 is mostly an introduction.
Their are basicly 3 maine characters. There is Luath, he is a young Golden Labrodor. Bodger is a White Terrier, he is very old. And there is also a cat, he's name is Tao. There owner is called John Longridge. John got the animals in the first place because, their formal owner went to England and he left the animals to John (This is not what happens in the book, it is an event that has already happened).

They talk about how Mrs. Oak, takes care of the house when John is gone. he also like the animals.

I don't particuly love this chapter, because nothing really exiting happens. But i really like the seenery.
